The Indian Supercross Racing League (ISRL) has confirmed the entry of Tricolor Motorsports as a new franchise team for Season 2. The team is backed by a US-based business group and will be led by industry veteran Pradeep Lala.
Lala, founder of Horizon Group and former managing director and CEO of Embassy Services Pvt. Ltd, will serve as team co-owner and CEO. He will oversee Tricolor Motorsports’ development with a long-term plan to establish a full-fledged motorsports division in India.
The entry of Tricolor Motorsports marks a significant step in ISRL’s global expansion. It highlights increasing international interest in India’s motorsports sector, bringing in foreign investment, expertise and innovation.
Lala said ISRL offers a scalable platform that blends motorsports, entertainment and brand engagement. He stated that Tricolor Motorsports aims to enhance the sport’s appeal by developing talent and technology nationwide.
ISRL managing director Veer Patel welcomed the team’s inclusion, calling it a key development in expanding the league’s global reach. He said the move will help elevate the standard of Indian motorsports and foster further international collaborations.
ISRL has gained visibility with actor Salman Khan as brand ambassador and investor, contributing to the league’s crossover appeal in entertainment and sport.
Tricolor Motorsports will debut in Season 2, with races scheduled for 25–26 October, 6–7 December and 20–21 December 2025.
